My name is Michelle Bunch and my work as a therapist focuses on partnering with children, teens, adults and families to cultivate greater awareness and happiness. It is my passion to help people remember or relearn their own worthiness and strength and take steps to build a life that reflects this. I believe that healing and growth happen in safe, caring relationships and that you deserve to experience unconditional acceptance, belonging, and nurturing support.
As a therapist I support you in compassionately noticing thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations and finding ways to respond to yourself and others in ways you find helpful. I believe the attitude with which we bring attention to the present moment is powerful and impacts how we feel in our own skin and lives. I help you to reflect upon and develop an attitude that eases suffering and increases communication in your own heart and in the relationships that matter most to you.
I bring curiosity and compassionate attention to my work with you so understanding and transformation can develop instead of shame and defensiveness. Conversation, mindfulness, play, creativity and lifestyle choices are vehicles of healing and change I often use in my practice.
